JinkoUp vs Trello

Trello made Kanban boards simple, and it's still great at that. JinkoUp keeps the board just as easy, and adds table, calendar, timeline and dashboard views of the same work, for one flat price.

Per seat vs one flat price

Trello charges for every seat, so the bill grows with your team. JinkoUp charges one price for the whole workspace.

When Trello is a better fit

  • You only need a simple board for a small team, and Trello's free plan covers it.
  • You depend on a specific Power-Up, or on other Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • You want the largest choice of add-ons. JinkoUp is newer and has fewer integrations.

Why teams choose JinkoUp

  • The same work as a board, a table, a calendar, a timeline or a dashboard, on every plan.
  • One flat price for the whole workspace instead of a price per seat.
  • Time tracking, workload and reminders built in, with no add-ons to manage.

Switching from Trello

Export a board from Trello as JSON (⋯ Menu → Print, export and share → Export as JSON), then import it into JinkoUp. Lists become stages and checklist items become subtasks.

You see a preview of everything before it's created. You can also import from Asana (direct or CSV), Trello, Jira, Notion or any spreadsheet. Step-by-step guide

7 days to undo any import

Questions, answered

What comes across from Trello?

Lists as stages, cards as tasks, checklist items as subtasks, due dates, labels, comments and attachment links.

Will my teammates be matched?

Trello exports don't include email addresses, so people are matched to your members by name. Anyone not matched keeps their name on the task.

Can I go back if it isn't right?

Yes. For 7 days every imported project has an Undo import button that removes it and everything the import created.

Try JinkoUp alongside Trello

Import one project, invite a few teammates and see how it feels. Undo the import any time in the first week.
