Email to task
Forward any email to a private address and it becomes a task, attachments included.
On this page
Get your address
- For a project: click the envelope button in the project header. Emails become unassigned tasks in the project's first stage.
- For yourself: in My Work, click Email to task. Emails become tasks assigned to you.
Copy the address shown. Each address is private to you. Add it to your email contacts so it's easy to forward to.
What becomes what
| Task | |
|---|---|
| Subject | Task title (“Re:” and “Fwd:” are removed). |
| Body | Task description (quoted replies are dropped), ending with who sent it. |
| Attachments | Task attachments (up to 10 files, 25 MB each). |
You'll get a “Task created” email with an Open task button.
Who can send
- Send from the email address you use for JinkoUp.
- For a project address, the sender must be able to see the project.
- Emails from anyone else are ignored, so the address can't be used for spam.
If an address gets shared by mistake, click New address; the old one stops working.
Very large emails may not arrive. Keep attachments under about 4 MB in total, or attach bigger files to the task directly.
