Zapier, Make and n8n
Automate JinkoUp with thousands of apps: the JinkoUp Zapier app, or webhooks and the REST API in Make and n8n.
On this page
Zapier: the JinkoUp app
- 1Open the JinkoUp Zapier invite and click Accept invite & build a Zap.
- 2In JinkoUp, create a personal access token named “Zapier”.
- 3In your Zap, pick JinkoUp, click Sign in and paste the token.
| Type | What's available |
|---|---|
| Triggers (instant) | New Task, Task Completed, Updated Task (with what changed), New Comment. Each can be limited to one project. |
| Actions | Create Task (project, stage, assignee, due date, priority), Update Task, Complete Task, Add Comment (@email mentions). |
| Search | Find Task, and Find or Create Task. |
Zaps act as the person whose token they use, with that person's access. Private projects stay private.
Make, n8n and others: webhooks + API
A native Make app is on the way. Until then, these steps connect JinkoUp to Make, n8n and similar tools (they work in Zapier too).
When something happens in JinkoUp (trigger)
- 1In Zapier choose Webhooks by Zapier → Catch Hook (in Make: Webhooks → Custom webhook; in n8n: the Webhook node) and copy its URL.
- 2In JinkoUp open Settings → Developers: API & webhooks, paste the URL, choose the events and click Add webhook.
- 3Click the send a test event button so your automation tool receives a sample event.
Each event includes the task title, project, stage, owner, due date, priority and a link. See Webhooks for the full format.
Do something in JinkoUp (action)
- 1Create a personal access token.
- 2Add an HTTP / API request step (Zapier: Webhooks by Zapier → Custom Request; Make: HTTP → Make a request; n8n: HTTP Request).
- 3Call the REST API with the header
Authorization: Bearer YOUR_TOKEN, for examplePOST https://jinkoup.com/api/v1/taskswith a JSON body to create a task.
Ideas
- New form submission or support ticket → create a JinkoUp task.
- Task completed → post to a channel, update a spreadsheet or send a customer email.
- New task in a project → add a row to Google Sheets or Airtable.
