GitHub

Link pull requests to tasks, see their live status, and complete tasks when PRs merge.

Connect GitHub (admins)

  1. 1Open Settings and find the GitHub card.
  2. 2Click Connect GitHub, choose your organization or account and the repositories, then Install & Authorize.
  3. 3Use Add account to connect more organizations.
  1. 1Open the task. Under Pull requests, click Copy for PR. This copies Closes <task link>.
  2. 2Paste it into the pull request's title or description on GitHub.

The PR appears on the task with a live status (Open, Draft, Merged or Closed), and GitHub gets a “🔗 Linked to JinkoUp” comment. Any JinkoUp task link in a PR works, even without “Closes”.

Complete tasks automatically

Put closes, fixes or resolves (or closed, fixed, resolved) right before the task link. When the PR merges, JinkoUp completes the task and notes which PR did it.

Closes https://jinkoup.com/projects/…?task=…
  • Removing the link from the PR unlinks it.
  • Titles of tasks in private projects aren't shown on GitHub.
  • Only tasks in the workspace that installed the GitHub app can be linked.

To stop, an admin clicks Disconnect on the GitHub card, and should also uninstall the app on GitHub.
