What you can do with JinkoUp
A tour of every part of JinkoUp, from views and fields to automations, client sharing, optional tools and integrations, with links to each guide.
On this page
JinkoUp is simple on day one: projects, tasks and live updates. This page lists everything else it can do, grouped by what you're trying to get done. Every feature is included on every plan.
Plan and track work
- Six views of a project: Table, Board, Calendar, Timeline, Dashboard (24 widget types) and Summary.
- Fields: custom fields and every field type, including money, date range, rating, link and formula, added from the Add column picker.
- Tasks: subtasks, related tasks and blockers, recurring tasks, reminders and task templates.
- Working with many tasks: filters and sorting, saved views, bulk edit, pin to top and row colors.
- Your day: My Work and Home, search and the command palette.
Collaborate
- Changes show up live for everyone, with comments, @mentions and activity, attachments and an inbox.
- Your status and presence, and Who's free to find someone with room for more work.
- Private projects for work only some people should see.
Work with clients and partners
- Read-only links: show a project's progress to anyone, no account needed.
- Requests for updates: let a client tick off tasks, change due dates and send you messages, no account needed.
- Forms and email to task: each submission or forwarded email becomes a task.
Automate and reuse
- Automations and reminders: rules and ready-made recipes that move, assign, comment and remind for you.
- Project templates: a gallery of ready-made projects, plus your own.
- Import from Asana, Trello, monday.com, ClickUp, Jira, Notion, CSV or Excel, with a 7-day undo, and export to CSV, Excel or JSON.
- Trash: deleted tasks, projects and pages can be restored for 30 days.
Optional tools
These are off in a new workspace so the app stays simple. A workspace admin switches each one on (or off again) in Settings → Features; turning one off hides it but keeps its data.
| Tool | What it's for |
|---|---|
| Notebook | Wiki pages for specs, meeting notes and how-tos, with live task lists and diagrams: flowcharts, mind maps, org charts and process maps. |
| Time tracking | A timer and manual time entries on tasks, compared with estimates, plus weekly timesheets. |
| Workload | Estimated hours per person per week, against their capacity. |
| Scheduled reporting | Status, overdue, progress and time reports emailed on a schedule, with an Excel file. |
| Invoicing | Turn billable time into invoices you print, save as PDF or email. |
| Approvals | Ask one or more people to sign off on a task. |
Security and administration
- Roles and permissions: custom roles on top of Admin and Member.
- Audit log: who changed what in the workspace, and when.
- Two-factor sign-in and security and privacy.
- The Files page, storage limits and your company logo.
- Six languages: English, Danish, German, French, Spanish and Italian. Everyone picks their own in Settings → Profile.
Integrations and AI
- AI assistants over MCP: Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code and more, acting as you. Ask AI helps write task descriptions with your workspace's own AI key.
- Slack, Microsoft Teams, GitHub and GitLab.
- Microsoft 365 (Office files and two-way Outlook calendar sync), calendar feeds, Google Drive, OneDrive and SharePoint and Figma.
- Webhooks, the REST API and Zapier, Make and n8n. See the integrations overview.
