Your status: Active, Busy, Do not disturb, On holiday
Set a status so teammates know when you're available, pause notifications while you're away, and see who's online.
Everyone has a status that shows as a coloured dot on their avatar, on the People page and in the account menu.
| Status | Dot | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Active | Green | Online and available. |
| Away | Amber ring | Online, but hasn't used JinkoUp for a while. |
| Busy | Orange | Working, but rather not be interrupted. |
| Do not disturb | Red | Notifications are paused. |
| On holiday | Blue | Away from work; notifications are paused. |
| Offline | Grey ring | Not in JinkoUp right now (shown on the People page). |
Set your status
- 1Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar.
- 2Click your current status and pick a new one.
- 3Optionally pick an Until date: on that day's end your status goes back to Active by itself.
You can also set it in Settings → Profile → Status and skills.
Notifications while you're away
On Do not disturb or On holiday, JinkoUp doesn't send you push notifications, Slack messages or notification emails. Everything still lands in your Inbox, so nothing is lost when you're back. Busy doesn't pause anything.
Away after a while
When you haven't moved the mouse, typed or scrolled for 10 minutes, your dot turns to Away. Change the time, or choose Never, under Show me as away after in Settings → Profile.
A tab left in the background for more than 30 seconds stops counting as online, so you show as offline when JinkoUp isn't open in front of you.
