Forms that create tasks
Publish a form anyone can fill in. Each submission becomes a task in your project, with the answers in its description.
Forms collect requests from anyone, inside or outside the workspace. Each submission creates a task in the project.
Create a form
- 1Open the project and click Forms in the header.
- 2Click Create form and give it a title and an optional description.
- 3Add questions: short text, long text, email, number, date or a choice, and mark the required ones.
- 4Tick Use as task title on the question that should name the task, and Use as due date on a date question if you like.
- 5Choose the stage new tasks go to, an optional assignee and a thank-you message.
- 6Click Create form, then Copy link and share it.
What a submission creates
- A task named after the title question (or after the form), in the chosen stage.
- Every answer listed in the task's description.
- The due date from the date question, when you picked one.
- A notification for you (and an assignment notification for the assignee).
Turn a form off or delete it
Switch Taking submissions off to close a form for a while; its link shows that the form is closed. Deleting a form removes its link for good; tasks it already created stay. The form's creator, the project owner and workspace admins can change a form.
Tasks are created in the name of the person who made the form, so a form stops working if they lose access to the project.
