Help centerProjects & tasks
Add a task to more than one project
Show the same task in several projects, with its own stage and order in each.
A task can appear in more than one project, like in Asana. It stays one task: the title, assignee, dates, subtasks, comments and files are the same everywhere, and a change in one project shows in the others straight away.
Add a task to another project
- 1Open the task.
- 2Next to Projects, click Add to project and choose the project.
The task goes to the end of that project's first stage. Move it like any other task: its stage and order there are separate from its home project.
Home project
The project the task was created in is its home project (the first chip under Projects). Its custom fields and automations apply to the task. Cards and rows from another project show From <project name>.
- Anyone who can see one of the task's projects can see the task.
- To take a task out of a project, click × on that project's chip. Its home project can't be removed.
- Subtasks stay with their parent task; add the parent task instead.
